Just came back from my grand-uncle's funeral.
Solemn affair, though there were laughter now and then.
What makes it weird was that, all those seemingly new people whom we met earlier on were related to us.
And we had no idea they existed...
Now, as i think back and forth, there are several occasions which brings relatives together.
1. The birth of a newborn
2. The death of a relative
Upon reaching the wake, we offered incense to our grand-uncle, follow by several kao-taos.
Even as it was a wake, everyone tried to keep the spirit up by not feeling sad. Smiling now and then...
Sat around for a bit, followed by a quick dinner of sort.
Food was tasty. Full Stop.
What was a little awkward was the presence of a distant cousin of ours.
Though related, we rarely talk.
We didn't communicate in the least bit.
The only times we talked to one another was during CNYs.
Maybe it's us growing up?
I can still remember my times at my grand-uncle's place.
Somehow, it became one of my favourite place, cos of this particular kor kor that i'll see there.
Haha...
Previously, when we were all young and naive, there were only 151 pokemon.
We would bring our game-boys to the room and begin trading pokemon.
Because of our obsession with the game, we would be trying to train our pokemon to the highest level possible.
Not long after, he told us of a trick that could clone Mewtwo. (HAHA)
It's true though. There really is that Mewtwo clone trick.
After cloning, we'd all be so ever grateful to him, because we could finally beat the other kids in school. LOL
As you know me, my mind works in a weird way.
Right now, i've this crazy idea of mine.
To create a family tree, so that i could link everyone up together.
It's gonna be a uphill task.
But if i could get the kor kor and his brother&sister's email/hp, i could just do that!

After the hectic timetable selecting exercise, which i'm sure made plenty of us swore in front of the laptop for the slow npnet connection, i got into a class which i'm neither happy or sad about.
TB02, i hope i can meet good friends there.
As i was saying, i got into TB02, along with 3 other friends of mine. Shaun, Yu Han & Wei Ting. It wasn't a big news or whatsoever, since i kinda knew wt since the start of last semester. What came as a shock was when Shaun told me that 6/7 of dpa were in TB02. And that 1/7 was somewhat one of my fav member of 05/06, Serena. But still, what done is done. If only Shaun had a quicker internet connection, i would still be in the same class as Simin. Haiz...
Also, i heard from an ex-classmate that there's another 2 previously from my class who are gonna be in the same class as me again.
Timetable selecting exercise has got to be one of the most tense moment in poly life. 1h to choose from 11 available timetable. 200 students connecting from home (albeit with some connected to npnet). 2 minute is all it takes for you to swear in front of your laptop.
And so, i quickly fought my way through those tubes and submitted a request for 904. However, to my dismay, 1 of us 4 had not gotten into 904, which prompted us again to request for another timetable. This time, the wall around npal became really rigid, and i almost tore my hair out while trying to log in. It was till 10min later, did i get the chance to change the submission to 902. It wasn't the best of all timetable, but still, it's bearable. Safe for that 1h of lunch break only during Monday & Tuesday.Labels: NP, Timetable |
